Juliana’s Story (as seen on the back of the card): Juliana is a creative, expressive 13-year-old who enjoys communicating to the world through dance and artwork. Juliana has ADHD, Sensory Integration Disorder, and other disabilities. She also has a certain "joie de vivre" that is most evident when she is outdoors, where she loves to spend her summers barefoot, climbing trees, and swimming. Juliana loves animals so it should come as no surprise that the subject of her winning artwork is a penguin. She is also an accomplished dancer – specializing in hip hop – and has performed during halftime at Minnesota Timberwolves basketball games. |
