Hey, there. Welcome back to Pacer Talks About Bullying. I'm Bailey. We're glad you're here.
Can you believe it? This is our last episode in Season One of Pacer Talks About Bullying. We've had so much fun making this new video series, and we hope you've enjoyed it just as much as we have. Now, for today's last episode we wanted to give you a behind the scenes sneak peek at some of the amazing people that work at Pacer. That helped make this video series possible. Now, the first person is Beth. And Beth is the first face you see when you come into Pacer. And we always use her amazing desk as our backdrop, so we wanted to give her a shout out. So, thanks for being in the video, Beth. Would you first tell our audience how long have you been at Pacer for.
I've been at Pacer for almost 19 years.
Gosh. And she's always the first smiling face that you see when you come in. And my next question is what is your favorite thing about working at Pacer?
The people, the coworkers. I feel like we're all one mind.
Yes. Me, too. I love that. And last question is what is your favorite thing about this new video series?
My favorite thing is when Bailey goes hey.
It's all about the signature wave. Well, thanks so much for being a part of this. And let's take you on the next part of our tour. Follow me. So, for our next stop on the tour we are in our front office, right now. So, any time someone calls Pacer they'll get connected to one of our amazing staff that are in the front office. But for this part of the segment we want to introduce you to Jamie. So, Jamie has edited these videos. There's been over 30 of them. So, he does a lot of work for this video series. So, we wanted to give him a special shout out. So, this is Jamie.
Hi.
Say hello to the audience.
Hello.
So, I have three questions for you. So, my first one is how long have you been working at Pacer for?
I've been at Pacer 26 years.
My gosh. And we love him. My next question is what is your favorite part about working at Pacer?
The variety of work. The editing video, updating the web.
Yeah.
Troubleshooting computers.
Yeah. He can do it all, honestly. And my last question is what's your favorite part about the video series?
Well, besides how organized you are with presenting me the material.
Yeah.
I think it's the, hearing the young students and talk about taking on bullying and ways to stop bullying.
Absolutely. Those are some of my favorite videos, too. So, thanks again, to Jamie. You've done a lot of editing and we appreciate all that you've done for this.
Thank you.
So, let's go to the next stop on the tour. So, as we go talk to our next person that's behind the scenes of this video series, we want to give you another look into Pacer and what our office looks like. So, for those of you that don't know, we are located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. And this is what I like to fall our Wall of Fame. So, every year in May we have our annual benefit where over 3,000 people come to support the work that Pacer does. We have a silent auction, a live auction, and then an amazing performance. So, these are some of the past performers that we've had for the benefit. And this year we're having Jennifer Hudson, which we are really excited about. So, let me introduce you to the last person on the tour. And then, we'll wrap this video up. And for the last stop on our behind the scenes sneak peek we're going to introduce you to Julie. So, Julie is the director of Pacer's National Bullying Prevention Center. And you've met her in the video, before. But she also is behind the scenes in all of the videos filming and helping with creation and ideas for the videos. So, you might recognize her office where we film a lot of videos in. Well, this is Julie, and she is last stop on this tour. So, I have three questions for you.
Sure.
The first one is how long have you been at Pacer for?
I have been at Pacer for 18 years, now.
So, amazing. And along with that, what is your favorite part about working at Pacer?
Again, just a question where there's so many things it's hard to pick just one. But I would, I would say the fact that so many of us here are parents with children with disabilities. And that it really inspires out work. And, and everyone has such a passion. Everyone brings a passion each and every day.
Right. Absolutely. And last one is what is your favorite part about the video series?
The video series. Well, being behind the camera, it's just been a pleasure and it's been so creative. And especially, I always love your signature wave. I look forward to it. One of the things that you can't see is that as Bailey is doing the shows every once a week, is that I'm always sitting behind the camera smiling at her thinking how amazing this is. But also, I just really appreciate our audience. To all of you out there and how receptive you've been to the information and inspiration. And so, we're really looking forward to season, Season Two.
Absolutely. We have a lot of fun things in store, so you'll have to wait 'till September. But let's wrap this tour up and close out Season One. Follow me. And that wraps up Season One of Pacer Talks About Bullying. Thank you, so much, to everyone that was involved in this first season, everyone in the videos, everyone that's watched, everyone that's commented. We could not do it without you. We'll see you right back here in September for Season Two of Pacer Talks About Bullying. And remember, together we can help create a world without bullying. Bye.
