AIMing for Achievement: Why Your Child with a Disability May Need Accessible Instructional Materials & How to Work with Your School

This webinar was held 10/31/2012

Accessible Instructional Materials (AIM) provide the same content as traditional classroom materials such as textbooks, but deliver the information in a way that students with print-based disabilities can use more easily. By watching this webinar, participants will learn about a 4-step process that can be used to determine whether a child with a disability needs AIM and how to work with the school to access them. Scenarios of children with different types of disabilities are used to provide examples of how the AIM decision making process works.
