>> Hey there. Welcome back to PACERTalks about Bullying. I'm Bailey [assumed spelling]. We're glad you're here.

On this week's episode, we are so excited to be sharing a brand new resource with you, the event kit. Now, this is a perfect tool to use in your school or community or business to raise awareness about the steps we can all take to help create a world without bullying. And, this week's episode, I am so excited to be doing a very special unboxing to show you all the amazing tools and resources that are inside this event kit for you to purchase. Now, let's dive into it.

So, when you get the event kit, you'll know exactly what it is because it'll have this label on it, Create a World Without Bullying Event Kit, so that way you know exactly what's finally arrived to your door. Now, let's open it up and see all that's inside of it. So, these toolkits are available on our website and there's enough materials in here for 50 people. So, it's great because you could use it at a back to school night, in your community, at the community center, really any event that you want to use it to build awareness on bullying.

So, when you open the event kit, the first thing that you'll see is a welcome letter. Now, there's a few other things in here that we'll come back to, but this is just saying thanks for purchasing the event kit and here's some other steps that you can do to create awareness around bullying prevention. Next, you'll see an idea guide. So, what's great about this is it gives you a ton of ideas on how to use the event kit, everywhere from stuff to use, all the materials to some ideas for different events that you could do in your community. Now, once you open it up, you'll see that there are some signature sheets. So, these are a great tool to have your table or at your event for people to sign, saying that they're committed to take action to prevent bullying in the world.

So, this is another call to action that you can use at your event to make sure that people really know the importance and the role that we all can play in bullying prevention. So, again, in the idea guide, there's a breakdown of all the materials that are in here and then some ideas on how you can use them and different ways to engage people at your event. Going into the next item, these are some of my favorite things. They're really big, so I'm not going to open them, but we'll post some images right here of all the posters, but this is a poster set. So, there's five different posters in here that all have messages about creating a world without bullying. Now, what's so great about these posters is that you can use them at your event. You can also use them throughout the entire year. So, let's say you're having an event at your school in the cafeteria during lunchtime. These are posters you can then keep up all year round to keep enforcing the message of kindness, acceptance and inclusion.

Next, what we have, this is a very exciting item. And, these are some pencils. So, we have orange pencils. As the toolkit is enough for 50 people, there's 50 pencils in here. So, this is a great takeaway item to give people at the end of the event. So, let's say they come and they sign the signature form, then afterwards they can get a takeaway pencil to remember the role that they play in bullying prevention. So, these are just a great fun item. Everyone loves a good pencil. And, just another kind of takeaway for people at your event. Along with that, another great takeaway item that we have are these decal stickers. So, these say Create a World Without Bullying on them and I'll put a larger image up here so you can actually see what they look like. But, again, just another great takeaway item. You could put it on your water bottle or a notebook or your computer to really remember the message that we all can help create a world without bullying. So, the pencils and the stickers are kind of the two great takeaway fun items to remember the event and remember the role that we play. Along with some other activities to have at the event, we have these really amazing intentional acts of kindness, acceptance and inclusion cards. So, these are great because on the front they just say what they are, intentional acts of kindness, acceptance and inclusion, but then on the back, they have some different action steps. So, for example, this one says, hold the door for someone. So, one way you can use these at your event is to have them on the table and have people draw a card and then challenge them to create one act of kindness, acceptance and inclusion. And, maybe if they do it, they can come back for a pencil or a decal. But, these are just a really great activation step for people to know that it can be something as small as holding the door for someone. That can make a huge difference. So, there is 50 of these cards in there as well.

Along with another kind of item to use during the actual event, we have these great brochures. So, these are brochures that have ideas on how to actually help create a world without bullying. There's steps for individuals and step that you can do in your school or community, but these are really great to pass out at the event to give people actual tangible steps on ways that they can help create a world without bullying. And, lastly there's just some more informational items in here. So, we have some really great bookmarks. We have two versions. This one is for kids, which is elementary school students. And, this one is for teens, which is middle and high school students. My favorite part about these bookmarks is they actually have and a little insert will come up here so you can see it, a pledge on the back of them. So, it's another pledge that kids and teens if you have students at the event can take to know that kindness is something that everyone can give. So, these are great other items that we have in the toolkit that people can use as a takeaway. And, lastly, there are some flyers. So, these are just flyers about PACERs national bullying prevention center. So, if people want more information on what PACER does or the other tools that we have, they can just checkout this flyer for more information.

So, that is everything that's in the event toolkit. Going back to the welcome letter, we also have an evaluation in here, so if you do order a toolkit, we would love your feedback about the impact that it made in your school or community. We also have if you order before Unity Day a Unity Day poster. So, Unity Day is on October 24th this year. Make sure you save the date. So, we have one free Unity Day poster in here as another event that you can use in your school or community to raise awareness on bullying prevention.

So, that's everything that's in the event toolkit. They sell for $50 and again they have enough material for 50 people. So, these are available on our website and we'll have a link in the description on how you can order one. That's all that we have for this week's episode of PACERTalks About Bullying. We'll see you right back here next week. And, remember, together we can help create a World without bullying. See ya.
