  • Tech for Teens Club : 3D modeling a Super Mario question block

    Date: Wednesday, December 18, 2024 — 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM CT
    Location: Online Web Streaming
    Join us for a virtual workshop to learn the basics of 3D modeling in SketchUp. Participants will explore different tools and learn how to create a model of a question block from Nintendo's Super Mario. This workshop is open to youth aged 12-20.

  • Tech for Teens Club : Coding robots

    Date: Saturday, January 11, 2025 — 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM CT
    Location: PACER Center
    Join our hands-on, in-person workshop to learn how to code mBots! Students will learn basic coding commands with block-based coding and will be able to program their mBot to navigate obstacles. This workshop is open to youth aged 12-20.
  • School avoidance in youth with mental health needs

    Date: Wednesday, January 15, 2025 — 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM CT
    Location: Online Web Streaming
    This workshop will teach parents and others positive interventions to help youth who struggle with school avoidance. It will also cover anxiety, challenging behaviors, and special education.
  • Accessibility Series : Android

    Date: Thursday, January 16, 2025 — 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM CT
    Location: Online Web Streaming
    Android devices have many accessibility settings built-in to their operating systems. Join us to learn about the different ways you can modify your Android devices to make them more accessible. This workshop will cover voice access, text-to-speech features, vision features, and more.
  • Guardian’s rights and responsibilities in the special education process

    Date: Wednesday, January 29, 2025 — 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM CT
    Location: Online Web Streaming
    Participants will learn about the basics of special education, the process, and the rights and responsibilities of guardians within that system. This workshop will also explain how PACER Center educational advocates help guardians navigate and advocate within the world of special education.
