Special thanks to Clare and Callie and to "One Direction"!

They helped McClure School reach its goal of donating over $1,000 to the National Bully Prevention Center.

The 6th-8th grade students paid to either take a picture with life-size "One Direction" cardboard cutouts, or purchased a raffle ticket to take home the cutout of their choice at the conclusion of the school dance.

Clare and Callie shared, "Everyone had a great time donating to a great cause! We are very thankful for the creative minds of the 8th grade student council officers who came up with this clever strategy to raise awareness and be able to donate to a cause."
