Everyone Deserves A Chance

This is a song I wrote about a friend of mine that was made fun of in middle school. She was and is such a nice and incredible person. It's a shame that kids can be so mean.

She sat on the bleachers
In the corner of the room

With kids all around her
At the middle school dance
Nobody noticed her in the stands

A few extra pounds
got her treated unfairly
She just wanted to fit in

Now she’s a doctor, working down at St. Jude, providing hope as best she can.
