I Care Because

Bullying of all forms is not right. Whether it's with abilities, gender, race, beliefs, hobbies, or looks. Everyone has something alike. We are all humans, and we have feelings

Veronica, 12, Illinois

I care because I was bullied for four years and it made me miserable. The bullying started when I was ten and it has not stopped. It has mostly been from the same girl and her friends. I don't want anyone to have to go through what I went through, and I what to bring an end to bullying. Nobody deserves to be scared, angry, sad or ashamed every day. To anyone out there who is being or has been bullied - even if you feel alone, please never give up hope that things can get better. You deserve to be happy no matter what the bully/bullies say.

Georgina, 14, England

Nobody deserves to be treated like that.
Also if he/she is fat or too skinny.
Also if he/she dresses different.
Also if he/she doesn't act normal.
Also if he/she is too little or too tall.
Everybody is perfect in there own special way.

Elianne, 12, The Netherlands

In 5th grade I felt like no one cared about me because I bullied.I was bullied because the way I looked and the that I was always the last one done doing math cause I didn't understand math very well. When I was bullied because of my looks I wanted to change myself.

At night while the others slept, we kept walking the tightrope, it was practice and yeah some of us fell. But I want to tell them that all of this is just debris of when we finally decide to smash what we thought we used to be. If you can’t find anything beautiful about yourself, get a better mirror, look a little closer, STARE a little longer, because there is something inside of you that made you keep trying.
-Shane Koyczan (To This Day, a message to the bullied and the beautiful)

Keep trying no matter how much they push you down.

A Friend, 12, NV

Bullying is something that everyone can relate to. Nobody wants to see someone they love get hurt. Websites like this are amazing because they spread awareness and help people to see that there are others like them. I know it has helped me, I will do my best to stop the bullying at my school and prevent it before it happens!
