PACER’s “Parents with High Expectations” Project seeks to increase the educational engagement of parents in Minneapolis and first ring suburbs so that youth whose parents are involved with the project have the access to resources, opportunities, and caring relationships that will propel them to a successful life.
This includes:
- Encouraging parents who are involved with the project to be engaged partners in their child’s education;
- Creating welcoming, supportive, and culturally responsive school cultures;
- Instilling high academic expectations for all students; and
- Creating policies and programs that meet the needs, enhance the experience, and improve outcomes for students through the work of this project.
