I Care Because

Im 13yrs old and i have been bullied since 3rd grade and i wish they knew how hurtful they are. They make fun of how.i look like my eyebrows or teeth etc......... im now in 7th grade and its still going on but i ignore them which gets them mad and i dont care
All i ever wished.for was them to treat me like i treat them
Im this person who is shy and too nice which means that they can use me for stuff and its not ok.
I have changed a little but it doesnt make me a better person so i went back to the way i was and made some friends and got the other girls and giys jealous bcause i was different than all the others but its not gonna get.in my way cause i want the bullying and cyberbullying to end now

I care because I have had personal experiences with bullying. It's not right to put someone down just to bring you to the illusion that you are better than them. I hope that those who bully will eventually realize tat what they are doing is wrong.

I care because when my son was battered on the school bus the school didn't do anything about it till I stood up. I care because some times the people who should, don't.

Denise, 9, Irving TX

All through elementary school I was bullied and I know how it feels. In class now, for our bell-ringers we have to write a paragraph everyday and almost everything I've written has been about it. People don't seem to realize the words they're saying hurt. I went through it and I know how it is.
I'm planning on getting my school involved.
I care because that was me up until I moved.
I feel it too, guys. Remember that you're loved. <3

"My brother is 16 and has a cognitive disability. All my life I've seen people who bully kids who don't know how to fight back or just straight up cant. I go to school and I see kids with cognitive disabilities who have a frown on their face until I tell them hello and give them a hug, because kids these days and even adults look down on children like my brother with faces that say they don't belong. You can't walk anywhere anymore without getting a dirty look from anyone. I love my brother and I care because cognitive disabilities, Gay, Parentless, and even Homeless kids cant stand for themselves."
