I Care Because

I've been there. I know how hard it was to wake up not wanting to get out of bed to face the world. I let the opinions of others get to me and i started to believe it myself. I struggled from an eating disorder and my self-esteem quickly shut down. i felt like i needed to be perfect to it in. I'm happy to say i have overcome that struggle in my life. I realized that you must learn to love yourself for who you are. You are here for a reason, a purpose, and no one should tell you otherwise. You must know that you are so much stronger than you think. Surround yourself with people who are positive and who love you. Just know that YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL ALWAYS !

My 11 year old sister has been bullied and made fun of because of her weight since she was 8. There are very very mean people in her school that make fun of her because of her weight, and she's not even big. They don't take the time to see her natural beauty, discover her beautiful attitude, or to get to know her before they judge her. Underneath all the tears, there is a girl with a beautiful heart of gold. Bullying needs to stop for little girls like my sister.

On this day March 29, 2012 my friend commited suicide at 5:00 am. He has done so because of the bullying that went on in school and online. People from ou school are so curl that they went to his house and wrote all over it. Im done after loosing my friend to this nothing will stop me from ending bullying in all.

I've been bullied and I know how it feels; I don't want others getting hurt from being bullied.

Via Mae, 14, Hawaii

I've been there. I know what it feels like to think the whole school is after you, that you don't mean anything to anyone. It does get better. My middle school years were the worst years of my life. Even today I try to forget them and can't. I was the school outcast and prime target for bullying. I was taunted, teased, cussed out, even beaten up. But I never gave up hope that it would one day get better. And it did. High school was a new start for me. I made friends and started to figure out my identity. The point is: it may be bad now, but never give up hope, it will only get better.
