Raise a Glass at PACER’s Beer & Wine Tasting Nov. 20 in Minneapolis
Event supports programs for children in Minnesota

Attendees of PACER’s “Raise a Glass – A Toast to PACER,” on Nov. 20 in Minneapolis will experience the best Minnesota’s brewers and winemakers have to offer, plus delicious food and live music. This beer and wine tasting event supports PACER Center’s programs for children with disabilities and will be held at Muse Event Center at 107 3rd Ave N., in Minneapolis beginning at 6 p.m.

The annual event is organized by the Friends of PACER and a group of young professionals committed to supporting PACER’s programs for children and families. Proceeds raised this year will support PACER’s Simon Technology Center, which works to make assistive technology more accessible to children and young adults with disabilities; and PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center, which actively leads social change so that bullying is no longer considered an accepted childhood rite of passage.

Tickets can be purchased in advance for $35 and at the door for $40 ($15 for non-drinkers), and include hors d’oeuvres and a signature tasting glass to sample products from Chankaska Creek Ranch & Winery, Summit Brewing Company, Surly Brewing Co., Burning Brothers, Insight Brewing, Milk & Honey Ciders, The Freehouse, and others. Attendees will have the opportunity to win prizes, including tickets to a 2015 Vikings game.  To purchase tickets or learn more, visit PACER.org/raiseaglass or call (952) 838-9000. Attendees must be 21 or older.

PACER Center is a parent center for families of children and young adults with any disability. PACER provides individual assistance, workshops, publications, and other resources to help families make decisions about education and other services for their child or young adult with disabilities.
