I Care Because

i think we should stop bulling because its not respecting others personal life

shawn, 15, lamar,mo

I know what it feels like to be bullied. It is not a good feeling. When you go home after school, you should feel happy and proud that you had a good day, not go home and cry into your pillow because you were bullied. If you feel pressured, sad, alone, or bullied you should always go and tell an adult right away. or just walk away from the bully and ignore them. It is hard to stand up to a bully or to stand up to someone who is being bullied. But once you learn how to stand up for yourself you won't be able to let anyone stand in the way of you. I say that we put an end to bullying. Who's with me? I want everyone to feel good about themselves because I care.

Ani Meader, 11, San Diego, CA.

I was bullied in school from the time I was 10 years old. It hurt me immensely that nobody liked me at all but when I came to live with my grandparents it all changed for me. I found people who had things in common with me and I wasn't afraid to show what I was feeling anymore.

In North Carolina we have to do a graduation project. I chose Cyberbullying as my topic, wronte a 10 page paper about it and got chosen by 3 different middle schools to speak in ASSEMBLIES of 8th graders to tell how internet safety and bullying needs to be a MAIN concern by all. I had 16 students come up to me after the assembly to talk about their issues on the internet. EVERYONE: YOU CAN GET ARRESTED FOR CYBERBULLYING.

I know what it's like to be bullied. To feel worthless and a like a lost cause. No one deserves to feel this way. Underneath we are all the same. We were all created equally. We all have a purpose. We can all give something to this country. There is no reason to bully others. Especially if it's to make yourself better. It just doesn't work that way. Or at all. Bullying needs to stop!!

Shyanna, 15, Wyoming

"Theres this disabled kid at my school, that gets bullied almost every day. He would get called names like- retarted, slow, or ugly. I was sad because the boy being bullied wouldn't do anything abut it, nor did anyone else. So i had to step up and lend a hand."
