I Care Because

no one should have to hate going to school.

I have disability called "Spina Bifida". I know exactly how it feels to be pushed by a Bully. Went I was in elementry, lots of kids pointed and laughed at me. They called me all sorts of names. A year or two later, I decided that enough is enough. I went and told an adult, but the bullying continued. So I started to take matters in to my own hands. Whenever someone would bully me, I would laugh along with them and start making fun of myself. Before I knew it, I started not being afraid and not getting my feelings hurt. The bully would started to give up because they knew they couldn't put me down. My social life became so much better.

i have a younger sister that is the most loveable person you could ever meet.. but you know you always have that group of people that makes you not want to go to school either because your close isn't the latest fashion or your just not "COOL" she calls me everyday crying because she get's bullied at school... so i just hope and pray that we can come together as a team and abolish bullying bc someone can really get hurt

I go to Russellville High School and we have created the Peace Club. This is group of young students, including me, wanting to make a change in our high school. Our club is to show tolerance with other people. One topic we have in our club is bullying. I really care about this topic because so many people are bullied physically and verbally. NO ONE deserves this. We are all equal and should treat each other how we want to be treated. And I know everyone has felt bullied at one time or another. The only thing is I don't exactly know how to get the word out about bullying past our club. I was just wondering how we could make a big impact outside of the group that already cares. I want everyone to care because IT IS a big deal. We could save many kids lives.
