I Care Because

Somw girls in my grade would always tell me they loved me and one time I walked into a conversation about how i was 'absolutely horrific' to put it in their terms... They then started doing it to my face and i almost ate lunch alone every day... a couple guys would sit with me every once in a while but the girls just isolated me. This verbal and lack of attention bullying was and is getting on my nerves and I want it to stop. Not just for me, but for other people who are also going through this... and I definately want it to stop for those in the future so they don't suffer too. I've always wanted to make a change.

I know people who were bullied. My close friend attempted suicide because she as bullied. Innocent people are getting hurt everyday, and for what reason? The satisfaction of the bully. Why should I let someone suffer when I know I can help stop their suffering? Why do I have to be bullied to do something? Why should I let others control my judgement? The answer is, I shouldn't. So I am going to be the change I want to see in the world.

delia, 13, san diego

I was a friend of a bully, but i didn't know they were bullying until i caught them pushing and hurting someone, the other friends said they didn't care but i did, so I said hey thats not cool and the whole school joined in!

Caitlin, 13, BE

Know one deservs to be bullied. I know some people at my school that get bullied. But most of them get bullied behinde there back. I used to make fun of people but then i stoped becuase i noted how bad it het them and so now i hang out with them. soetimes i stand up for them. If your a person that gets bullied tell a teacher or an adolt if they dont do enything about it then tell a parent.NO one needs to be bullied.

I too was a victim of bullying during my elementary to middle school years and I believe that no child needs to live in fear of their peers, in fear of going to school because they will be hurt that day, nobody deserves to mistreated for any reason. It needs to stop.
