Creative Kids, a PACER Contest

Spencer Sieber is the grand prize winner of PACER’s 5th Annual Creative Kids Contest!

The cards are a standard 4 ½ x 6 ¼ note card size, and include 8 cards per box with accompanying envelopes. All proceeds from the sale of the cards benefit PACER programs.

Creative Kids would like to give a special thanks to all of the contestants who contributed their inspiring artwork; to Anthony R. Whelihan, PACER’s artist in residence, and head of the Creative Kids Program; and to all the sponsors who made this possible: Ideal Printers, Gallery Service, and Bloomington Art Center.

Spencer’s Story (as seen on the back of the card):

Ten-year-old Spencer Sieber is an artistic and energetic boy who has autism and diabetes. Most content when he is drawing, coloring, or painting, he especially looks forward to the annual Creative Kids Contest and spending time with PACER’s artist in residence, Anthony Whelihan. Spencer enjoys being outdoors, particularly at the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, which is often the subject of his artwork. He eagerly awaits the release of animated films, and he draws detailed characters from memory. Spencer also has a talent for music and is an avid sports fan. His dream career is to be involved in the animation industry.
