PACER Center workshop will offer tips and tools for parents to communicate with school staff
Minneapolis: PACER Center will offer “Tips and Tools for Talking with School Staff,” a free workshop for parents of children with disabilities and for professionals. It will take place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 7 at PACER Center, 8161 Normandale Blvd., Bloomington.
This workshop is also available online via Livestream on a computer or tablet.
This workshop will offer parents of special education students practical, easy-to-use tips for communicating with school staff and resolving differences in effective ways.
Participants will learn how to:
- Prepare for meetings
- Gather information
- Resolve disagreements
- Ask questions
- Become an equal partner
