PACER Center workshop will focus on assistive technology for children with disabilities
Minneapolis: PACER Center will offer “New Technologies, New Opportunities: The Changing World of Assistive Technology” from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 17 at PACER, 8161 Normandale Blvd., Bloomington. This free workshop is designed for parents of children with disabilities and professionals.
This workshop is also available online via Livestream on a computer or tablet.
Today’s assistive technologies (AT) include a diverse range of products never before seen in the field. The presentation will discuss a variety of timely technology trends that are shaking up the assistive technology field and creating newfound possibilities for individuals with any disability.
Topics will include wearable technology, 3D printing, and robotics and telepresence.
