PACER Center to host workshop in Owatonna addressing challenging behaviors in young children
Minneapolis: PACER Center will offer “Understanding and Addressing Challenging Behaviors in Your Young Child,” a free workshop from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 3 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 609 Lincoln Ave. S., Owatonna.
It is designed for early childhood professionals and parents of children ages two to five with developmental delays or disabilities.
Participants will learn about the stages of development and strategies to help meet the needs of children. Families will also have the opportunity to network with other parents.
The workshop will address different types of temperaments, stages of development, and strategies to help children learn appropriate ways to express their wants and needs.
This workshop is co-sponsored by Owatonna Early Learning Group.
