PACER Center is offering “Understanding the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and Individualized Education Program (IEP),” a free workshop for parents of young children with disabilities. It is on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Roseau City Center, Library Meeting Room, 121 Center St. E., Roseau, Minn. Advance registration is requested.

- Writing measurable goals
- Families’ rights within the special education process
- Ways to resolve differences
