PACER Center offers technology workshop for girls with disabilities
PACER Center is offering “Technology for Girls: Dream It, Build It,” a free workshop for middle-school girls with disabilities. It is on Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2009, from 6 to 8 p.m., at PACER Center, 8161 Normandale Blvd., Bloomington, Minn. Advance registration is required.
Using toothpicks, pennies, foil, gumdrops, straws, and clay, girls will have fun as they build a variety of structures and test the strength of those shapes by adding weight.
To register, call PACER at 952-838-9000 or 952-838-0190 (TTY). In Greater Minnesota, call 800-537-2237 (toll free) or visit PACER.org.
