PACER Center offers computer workshop series for beginners
PACER Center is offering “Computer Skills and Resources to Close the Digital Divide,” a free workshop series for parents who have children with disabilities and who are computer beginners or have limited access to technology. The workshops are at Project for Pride in Living Learning Center, 1925 Chicago Ave., Minneapolis, Minn. Participants may attend any or all of the sessions. Advance registration is requested.
Computer and Assistive Technology Basics

Come learn the basic skills needed to use a computer and navigate the Internet. You’ll also find out what assistive technology is, how it can benefit people with disabilities, and how you can have access to computers and the Internet for little or no money.
