PACER offers assistive technology Webinar series

PACER Center is offering “Minnesota Assistive Technology (AT) Webinar Series,” a free opportunity for parents of children with disabilities and professionals to learn how AT can promote inclusion and learning.

All sessions are on Tuesdays from 1 to 3:30 p.m., central time. Registration is required for individual sessions.

May 19: How to Consider AT in the Individualized Education Program (IEP)
Learn about IDEA’s requirement to consider AT for students with an IEP; gain an overview of the Minnesota manual that explains the consideration process; and discover state and local resources that can help you try, acquire, and fund AT. Register: https://www2.gotomeeting.com/register/334903745

June 2: AT for Reading, Writing, and Math
