PACER workshop on community inclusion features international disabilities speaker Judith Snow
PACER Center is offering “Building Community Inclusion: What Parents, Youth, and Schools Can Do,” a free workshop for parents, youth, and professionals. It is on Wednesday, April 15, 2009, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at PACER Center, 8161 Normandale Blvd., Bloomington, Minn. Space is limited. Advance registration is requested.
Judith Snow is an internationally known author, lecturer, and organizer who has advocated tirelessly for the rights of all people—including those with disabilities—to participate fully in society. In this heartwarming presentation, she will explain how to build supports that nurture full participation in determining one’s own life.
Youth between the ages of 14 and 23 who have disabilities are encouraged to attend.
