Dynamic speaker leads PACER workshop on children’s mental health issues

PACER Center is offering “Attention and Behavior Disorders,” a free workshop for parents and professionals. It is on Monday, March 30, from 7 to 9:30 p.m., at PACER Center, 8161 Normandale Blvd., Bloomington, Minn. Advance registration is requested.

Dr. L. Read Sulik, child and adolescent psychiatrist and the assistant commissioner for mental health services at the Minnesota Department of Human Services, will discuss effective strategies for addressing attention and behavior disorders, including ADHD. The presentation includes a video, question-and-answer session, and guest speaker Benjamin Woodcock, a high school senior who will share his experiences of having ADHD.
