PACER Center offers visual strategies workshop series
PACER Center is offering the following free workshops on visual strategies and tools that support students with autism and other disabilities. The sessions are for parents and professionals. They are on Tuesdays from 6 to 9 p.m. at PACER Center, 8161 Normandale Blvd., Bloomington, Minn. Advance registration is requested.

Learn how to create social stories that help students understand concepts and events.
Implementing Visual Strategies, April 14, 2009
Learn strategies for implementing the tools.
Open labs to practice using the tools also are available March 24 and May 19 from 5 to 7 p.m. at PACER. Participants may drop in during any of these lab hours. Advanced registration is requested.
