PACER Center workshop focuses on understanding Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
PACER Center is offering “IDEA: Understanding the Individualized Education Program,” a free workshop for parents of children with disabilities and for professionals. It is on Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2009, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., at PACER Center, 8161 Normandale Blvd., Bloomington, Minn. Advance registration is requested.
Participants will learn about:
- New IEP requirements
- Overview of evaluation
- Team planning
- Writing measurable IEP goals
- Adaptations
- Implementation
- Methods for resolving disagreements
