PACER Center offers assistive technology workshop

PACER Center is offering “Building Capacity for Assistive Technology,” a free workshop for parents and professionals. It is Saturday, June 28, 2008, from 9 a.m. to noon at 151 Montague Hall, 1211 Ordean Court, University of Minnesota – Duluth, Duluth, Minn.

Participants will join local stakeholders, including parents, teachers, assistive technology specialists, and others, to discuss building capacity for assistive technology in the region.

PACER Center is a parent center for families of children and young adults with any disability. PACER provides individual assistance, workshops, publications, and other resources to help families make decisions about education and other services for their child or young adult with disabilities.
